Elise Lamb
Described as having an “evocative, masterful & iconic” style, Elise Lamb is an award winning director, screenwriter and producer.
Elise’s most recent short film ‘The Wilted Rose’ premiered in competition at the 2023 Brisbane International Film Festival where it won Best Short Film and was a contender for the 2024 AACTA Award (Australian equivalent of an Oscar/BAFTA). Other award winning & nominated films include ‘Method In Madness’ for which she won Best Director at the Paris International Film Awards and was nominated for Best Film at Kenneth Branagh’s Shakespeare Shorts and ‘Skin & Blister’ which was nominated for Best Short Film at the WIFT Australia Film Festival and screened at the Melbourne Women in Film Festival.
Elise has also shot two short films as Cinematographer/Director, ‘Op Shop’ which had a successful International festival run and ‘A Message’ which premiered at Monster Fest (Australia’s largest Genre Film Festival).
In 2025, Elise was a Shadow Director for Season 6 of ‘Slow Horses’ mentored by Emmy winner Adam Randall.
As a screenwriter, Elise has been nominated twice for the Australian Writers’ Guild Monte Miller Award and is developing a slate of projects including her debut feature film and a semi-biographical TV series. Her scripts have also placed as finalists at Austin Film Festival, Raindance and Nashville Film Festival.
Elise has also worked extensively as an Assistant Director on Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis’ , Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ , HBO’s ‘House of The Dragon’ and Amazon MGM’s ‘The Rings Of Power’. Classically trained at LAMDA and graduating with a Master of Arts from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Elise’s filmmaking career is preceded by over two decades of work as an actor, dancer, stunt performer, theatre director and playwright.
Elise is an Australian Citizen of Scottish descent based in London and holds the UK Global Talent Visa.
