Elizabeth Kesses

Elizabeth is an independent European tv producer based in Paris and London producing via her production company EJK Productions. Elizabeth began in advertising strategy and then moved into film marketing and distribution, first at LUCASFILM and subsequently moving to FOX international and soon becoming marketing director of the Theatrical division in UK. She’s now developing and adapting books and original narratives for TV. 

Shows in development include dramas by bestselling global authors Lisa Jewell, TM Logan, Tim Weaver, Lucy Atkins, Shari Lapena, Susan Lewis and Louise Candlish and as well as a geopolitical thriller The Ambassador written by former diplomat Tom Fletcher in partnership with Sony TV. She is also producing a criminal defense returner with Sarah Parish and a locked in real time thriller Dead Mile from Jo Furniss. 

She just acquired an art thief franchise from James Twining and coproducing it with Amblin and is partnering Blink TV on a wintry destination thriller from Shari Lapena. In addition, Elizabeth also has several French projects underway such as Edgar Allan Poe original detective returner to star Freddie Highmore, a Josephine Bonaparte miniseries as well as the last feature from Visconti about Proust with Federation. 

She is in partnership with UK and European producers including Moonriver, Gaumont, Sony, Blueprint, Big Light, Red Planet, Anton and Hartswood. On USA side she is also in a co-pro with MGM for the wine crime Anglo French project - The Sommelier.

On the talent side she has developed strong relationships with top UK talent with early attachments of Jo Froggatt, Anna Friel, Dominic Cooper, Richard Armitage and working with writers such as Sophie Petzal, Sara Collins and Simon Allen.
