Lotte Mullan

Lotte Mullan is a writer and musician from Norfolk.

Her comedy drama pilot ‘Milf’ was recently directed by Alice Lowe for BBC comedy’s Female Pilot Club at Leicester Square theatre.

She has five feature screenplays in development, one of which has been adapted into the show ‘Now That’s What I Call a Musical’, directed by Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood.

‘Diary of a Plain Jane’, a satirical blog Mullan wrote about misogyny in the music business, was optioned by Elton John's Rocket Pictures and broadcast on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

Mullan’s novel ‘Love is Strange’ was shortlisted for the Comedy Women in Print Prize 2019 and a series of audio books she wrote for children were released by Universal Records and have had over a million streams.

Mullan wrote the soundtrack to the Ridley Scott Productions short film ‘Cupidity’ which won first prize at Manhattan Short Film Festival and has garnered over 10 million streams.

Mullan’s songs have featured in the BAFTA winning film ‘Wild Rose’ and British Indie hit ‘Fisherman’s Friends’.

Mullan has released five records. Her last studio album 'Love’s Bonfire’ was recorded in Nashville with American rockers Band of Horses.
