Niku Gupta

Niku Gupta is a dual-heritage British-Bengali screenwriter and script editor based in London. She has freelanced in script editing, research, and development for companies including 42 and New Pictures, and spent five years at Raw TV working across Bart Layton’s film slate, including his feature Crime 101. Prior to Raw TV, she was at Curtis Brown.Her writing blends wit and warmth, with a focus on comedy-drama. Drawing on her extensive development background, she brings a collaborative approach to her work and a strong understanding of the current commissioning landscape.
