Richard Brabin

Richard graduated from the screenwriting MA at London Film School in 2020. Since then, his short play ‘Poppy’ has been performed at Southwark Playhouse and his satirical play ‘Steps to the Stage’ was runner-up in the Kenneth Branagh Award for New Writing. Richard was also selected to attend Series Mania to pitch his tv show ‘At Sea’ and his debut film ‘Learning to Breathe Under Water’ wrapped filming in October 2024. It stars Maria Bakalova and Rory Kinnear and is financed by Screen Ireland and BFI.
