VIKA EVDOKIMENKO is a British filmmaker with Jewish, Ukrainian and Russian roots. She graduated from Cambridge University and attended the NYU Grad Film program where she was mentored by Rebecca Miller and Spike Lee. Her commercial work has been nominated for the Young Arrows, AICP and Porsche Advertising Awards and her short Aamir shot by Robbie Ryan (Bugonia) was nominated for a BAFTA. Her short Truth Serum starring Baby Reindeer creator Emmy Award winner Richard Gadd can be seen on Omeleto. Her short I Don’t Need Adult Conversation (one of BFI's #MadeofTruth grantees) has been featured by Girls In Film and 1.4 . Her latest short Borscht, the recipient of The Uncertain Kingdom 'Belief' grant starring Laura Marcus (The Hunger Games, Andor) is currently on the festival circuit. Vika is a lecturer at the University of London, a Yaddo Colony fellow and a member of the British Academy.
